Intricate designs, woodgrained details and artful furnishings make this HDB flat a perfect fit for a bachelor.
Warm, cosy and stylish, this HDB flat very much resembles a hotel suite with its open concept bedroom. However, the owner added his own spin on the interior, with interesting decor brought back from his travels. A mix of personal touches and nifty additions, the flat is fengshui approved, resulting in an inviting space the bachelor can come home to.
Living Room
With its open concept, the living room employs false ceiling lighting and a black-rimmed full-length mirror to brighten up the space. Light vinyl flooring juxtapose the navy walls of the space, creating a visual interest.
Dining Room
The quartz dining table has a wooden support that also doubles up as a storage cabinet. Adding character to the dining area is the wall with built-in cabinets in laminate finishing, where a clock with beautiful soaring birds hangs.
Studio Concept
Separating the bedroom from the living room are aluminium folding doors with black wire mesh glass panels. The laminate wardrobe was built to look like a decorative element when the sliding door is opened. The bed head was also designed to follow specific fengshui requirements.
Bathroom
Using homogeneous tiles for both the flooring and walls, the bathroom comprises sleek and sharp lines that give the space an edgy vibe. Black rimmed shower panels and pipes add to the modern and contemporary look.
